A small crew that does one thing
1800 METH DECON carries out methamphetamine remediation works. That is the whole business — not a sideline bolted onto a general cleaning company, and not a testing outfit that also quotes on the clean-up.
How we work
We are the implementation end of the job. A Certified Occupational Hygienist assesses the property and prepares the remediation plan; we price that plan and carry it out. Works are performed with reference to the Australian Government Clandestine Drug Laboratory Remediation Guidelines and to whatever the plan itself specifies.
We deliberately do not write the plans we work to. The party deciding how much remediation a property needs should not be the party invoicing for it. Every extra room, every sheet of plasterboard and every metre of ducting in a scope is money to the contractor, and you should not have to take our word for it that they were necessary.
The same goes for testing — we do not sell it. We sample within our own jobs as quality control on our work, and we are clear about the difference between that and a clearance result.

- The plan implemented as written, with anything unexpected referred back to the hygienist
- Unmarked vehicles if discretion matters to you — just ask
- Work documented as we go, not reconstructed afterwards
- A straight answer when you ask what something is for
A note on discretion
Plenty of our clients would rather the neighbours, the tenants or the wider street did not know why we are there. That is completely reasonable and we work that way as a default. Nothing on our vehicles announces what we do.
